Eh. People do things like build up Garmonesque memes for their own personal enjoyment. It doesn't always have anything to do with trying to impress or entertain others, so criticizing it because you think it's been taken too far or that it's embarrassing someone doesn't carry all that much weight to the people behind the meme. That's just my two cents about the basic idea of this Garmon thing and things like it. I'm not speaking for anyone responsible for the meme though so maybe they had different motives than what I mentioned.

Obviously not every gag is funny to everyone, but I think Garmonistic love threads can light up the forum on a slow day. As long as someone from Genos makes sure that nobody posted a killmail and abusive chat log from somoene who was flying a hull-tanked Falcon with a years-old character still in the hands of the original owner, a Garmon thread is welcome in my book if the C&P forum isn't otherwise bringing either:
1. the lulz
2. something srsly relevant to pew pew
